General Information

No two WRX or STi Impreza's are alike and results will vary slightly from car to car depending upon a host of factors:

- environmental differences (Denso ECU's will compensate for Ambient Temperature, Intake Air Temp/Humidity, Fuel Grade/Quality ) - condition of engine / mileage - all components should be working in harmony such as MAF Sensors, O2 Sensors, Cam Sensors, Knock Sensors etc...

*N.B Every remap is completely custom as we start from scratch every time with every car and work directly from your ECU's original OEM map. The end result is a tune that is individually matched to your car's specific character and level of modification. We don’t do generic maps!! No two remaps are the same, even for two identical cars with identical modifications.

Vehicles are mapped at Rapid Remap HQ in Cannock. Remapping will take anywhere between 2 - 4hrs.

Additionally you should make sure you have filled the car with a fresh tank of 99RON fuel (Tesco or V-Power) and your vehicle should be mechanically in excellent working order.

Do not run your Subaru Impreza WRX/STi on anything other than 99Ron fuel otherwise you will not realise the full effects of the remap and your engine will not produce the levels of power and torque the remap can produce.

All Vehicles before mapping will undergo a full ECU Engine Diagnostic check and logs of the cars on-road performance and standard engine parameters will be taken before mapping.

We have to make sure your engine is in good working order and your ECU and engine is operating as Subaru intended.
 
Our remaps are designed to run well within SUBARU safe engine limits as long as your vehicle has been properly & regularly serviced and well maintained.

Even our Stage2 and 2.5 remaps are well within safety/reliability margins and not designed to produce such huge amounts of power that would be dangerous. Our remapping makes your car very much more driveable and tractable for everyday use on UK roads.

Those of you partial to the odd track-day will find performance to be very different from the standard car making your Subaru more useable (Torque) lower down the rev range, especially out of corners, and with more power (BHP) for swifter straight line sprinting.
