IMPORTANT NOTICE

IF YOU HAVE HAD ANY EcuTek/Tek3 REMAPPING ON YOUR CAR, OR YOU KNOW IT TO HAVE BEEN REMAPPED FROM 2006 ONWARDS, EVEN IF THE ECU HAS BEEN REVERTED BACK TO THE STANDARD OEM MAPPING WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO REMAP YOUR ECU WITH OUR REMAPPING TOOLS.

EcuTek/Tek3 MAPS FROM 2006 ONWARDS CANNOT BE OVERWRITTEN BY ANY SOFTWARE OTHER THAN EcuTek BECAUSE YOUR ECU IS LOCKED OUT.

N.B.
You ECU will not realise it's full 100% remapped potential until the car has completed about 200 - 300 miles after remapping. This is applicable no matter what software or methods are used to remap your ECU. During that time the Denso ECU is learning the full range of day to day driving parameters, and to some extent learning your driving style too. As such it will not produce full remapped power until the learning process has been completed. Immediately after remapping the car should be at c. 90%-95% of full remap potential with the other 5%-10% feeding in during the learning period. Depending on your driving style it may take longer or less time than anticipated although 200 - 300 miles learning time is pretty average.

All Vehicles before mapping will undergo a full ECU Engine Diagnostic check and logs of the cars on-road performance and standard engine parameters will be taken before mapping. We have to make sure your engine is in good working order and your ECU and engine is operating as Subaru intended.
 
Our remaps are designed to run well within SUBARU safe engine limits as long as your vehicle has been properly & regularly serviced and well maintained. Even our Stage2 and 2.5 remaps are well within safety/reliability margins and not designed to produce such huge amounts of power that would be dangerous. Our remapping makes your car very much more driveable and tractable for everyday use on UK roads. Those of you partial to the odd track-day will find performance to be very different from the standard car making your Subaru more useable (Torque) lower down the rev range, especially out of corners, and with more power (BHP) for swifter straight line sprinting.
