Simon Says…

A few people I know had recommended a REVO remap for my car, but I had the opportunity to drive a friends Golf GTTDI that had been remapped by Rapid Remap.

Although I was impressed with the power, what was more impressive was the way the power was delivered.

It was blisteringly quick right through the entire rev range but the real kick feeds in progressively from approx 1700 revs upwards, making it a lot easier to get off the mark than some of my mates cars.

So I called Rapid Remap for some more information.

When I spoke to Mike at Rapid, I explained what I wanted to achieve he assured me that because they custom write their own files, they could deliver the power where I wanted it.

Rapid were able to do the remap for me while waited rather than me having to leave the car there all day.

When I went for the test drive I was gob smacked at the difference the remap had made to my NEW Car.

The difference in power delivery was amazing, it was just so much stronger right through the rev range.

The flat spots that had been a mild irritant before had totally dissapeared and if I hadn't seen the remap being done I would have thought they had actually fitted a new engine.

Anyone thinking of having a remap done make sure you check out Rapid, they are mega friendly and certainly know how to make a car go.
