The Golf 2.0 TDI is my wife’s car, she wanted it remapped after she experienced and drove our BMW525d after its rapid remap.
 
The Golf is already by no means a slouch, but after the ecu remap the car is in a different league, the GTI destroying league.

Power delivery is smooth and very responsive.

Power seems to be on tap even quicker than the standard car, which suffered little lag, it feels almost instant!
 
The excitement and exhilaration really comes once this powerhouse of a diesel engine comes on song.

The acceleration and pulling power from very low revs is nothing short of phenomenal.

Out on the highways pockets of ‘A Road’ traffic are despatched within seconds with ease and safety.

The latter is a product of the mid range grunt that the car now possesses, it just goes, and goes and goes!
 
As with the BMW the MPG fuel consumption on the Golf is completely unaffected by the transformation, free power, now you can’t say fairer than that in these days of higher fuel prices!
