Leon Cupra R 225 - Performance Remapping

I am a qualified motor mechanic and track day race instructor driving high performance vehicles including various Porsche, BMW, Aston Martins and even a Lamborghini Gallardo.

My personal car, a Seat Leon Cupra R 225 is a little less glamous but a very enjoyable drive non the less, however as you can imagine after driving some of my clients high performance cars, 225 bhp can seem a bit pedestrian.

I was given Rapid Remaps number by a mate of mine who had previously had his 1.8T Golf remapped by them, and was delighted with the results so I called and spoke to James

I arranged for the Cupra to be remapped, What a difference it made, it was absolutely awesome. I had been promised a minimum of 50bhp increase, but was absolutely amazed when I put it on a rolling road a week later, and it was pushing out an amazing 286bhp and 289 lbft of torque.

Prior to having it remapped I had hit the 155 mph mark, but afterwards I had it upto just under 165 mph (on a race track of course) and it pulls so strong and smooth through the whole rev range that instant power is always ontap
