Well beyond my expectations and by far the best money I have ever spent on any car modification.

Prior to taking my cherished RR to Rapid Remap, I had a detail discussion with Mike about what I could expect from a Custom Rapid Remap.

Mike was very helpful and more than happy to answer all my questions, describing the process and exactly what was involved.

The main thing I was keen to improve was the fuel economy, which was pretty much pegged at 20.9mpg no matter what I tried.

Mike had estimated an improvement of approx 10-25% according to how I drove, so I am absolutely amazed that after a full week of driving and allowing the new settings to take effect, the trip computer nows shows 28.8mpg average.

That works out to some 40% improvement, which is like me being able to buy diesel at just 60p a litre rather than the normal £1.00 a litre.

Thats not all...

Apart from the massive fuel savings that I am getting, the RR drives like a totally different car.

It is quieter, smoother and so much more pleasant to drive than it was standard.

Something else that I have noticed is that the car does not change gears so frequently as it did before the remap making for much smoother progress.

In my personal opinion I think all Range Rover owners should take their cars to Rapid Remap for a custom remap, they will be amazed at the results and save a shed load of money into the bargin.
