This is my dads car and we booked in for remapping at the same time as my crossfire

The performance gain on the Saab is awesome, and when it hits around 2000 revs it pulls like a train right upto the redline.

Dad had only had the car for about a week before having the remap and hadn't had a lot of time to get a long term on MPG.

Before the remap it was averaging about 40mpg, and now it is upto 44-45mpg. (just slightly over 10%) even though dad is very pleased with the cars new overtaking prowess.

Mike has told us that it may get even better once dad has returned to his normally more sedate driving style.

Dad's main goal in getting the Saab remapped, was to improve power delivery so any further improvement in MPG was a bonus.

During the write process the ecu decided to stop working, Mike explained, that whilst this sort of problem was quite rare, it could and did happen on occassion.

Fortunately Rapid Remap have an ECU repair facility onsite, so were able to remove the ECU from the car and resolve the issue without any fuss.

Had this problem occured with a mobile tuner, we might not have been so lucky.

My dad loves his new car and feels it is far safer overtaking now, because the power delivery is so constant all the way through the gears and doesn't drop off aorund 3500 revs like it used to.
