Spot The Difference

It isn't always easy

At first glance most remap offers seem to be very similar, the immediate and most obvious difference is price.

You can see a wide variety of prices advertised for exactly the same model.

On the surface it would seem that, opting for a "good price" would be a good idea, and if all things were equal maybe it would be.

However all things are not equal, all remaps are not the same.

In a market place where the investment cost of providing a quality remap is high, it is only possible to cut costs by cutting corners.

We are not saying go for the most expensive, because it is the best.

What we are saying is check out what you are getting for your money and make your decision on that rather than the price tag alone.

Remember all that shines, is not gold

What you should be looking for

Genuine companies have business expenses, and they have to be factored into the prices they charge.

Genuine companies will be there for you if you have a problem later on, even if only for advice.

If the price you have been quoted sounds too good to be true, maybe it's not as good as you think.

When you are dealing with hi tech stuff like engine management software, things can and do go wrong from time to time.

The question you have to be sure of is.

If something does go wrong, can the people I am dealing with fix it, and in the worst case they are insured to cover the cost of replacement.

And more important than you might think.
